We are seeking a Junior to Mid-Level Frontend Developer to join our client’s high-profile enterprise project. You’ll be part of a collaborative team working alongside experienced senior developers who will provide guidance and mentorship as needed.

About the Project

Our team is engaged in an exciting enterprise website redesign project for a high-profile client built on WordPress. This role focuses on building reusable, pixel-perfect components. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to deliver this innovative digital experience, applying strategy, creativity, and technology to transform complex functional requirements into a seamless, engaging, and impactful website.

Requirements

Experience

  • 3+ years of frontend development experience
  • Proficiency in JS, jQuery, CSS3, SCSS, HTML5
  • Experience coding WordPress themes (preferred)

Frontend Development

  • Experience with Node, NPM, React, Gulp, Git and ESLint
  • Proficiency with Responsive Design concepts
  • Knowledge of WCAG 2.1 Level AA accessibility guidelines
  • Experience with performance optimization tools (YSlow, PageSpeed)
  • Understanding of SEO best practices
  • Familiarity with the Pattern Lab design system (preferred)

Additional Skills

  • Experience working in an agile process with sprints in Jira
  • Proficient in written and verbal English for seamless communication with US-based customers
  • Team player mindset
  • Basic understanding of PHP (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with the design team to translate high-fidelity Figma designs into functional components and layouts within WordPress.
  • Implementing a new frontend WordPress theme with custom component development.
  • Participating in planning sessions and collaborating on innovative solutions.
  • Ensuring cross-browser compatibility and optimizing frontend performance for an exceptional user experience.

  2. Coding Challenge: After the first interview, qualifying candidates will be invited to complete a brief coding challenge. The results will help us schedule the second interview with the client’s team.
