About the Project
Join our high-profile client’s enterprise website redesign project to untangle interesting software challenges, architect robust backend systems, and deliver powerful digital solutions. Your expertise in Django and experience building REST APIs for React applications will be crucial in achieving successful outcomes. You’ll collaborate with a dynamic team to implement effective backend solutions for this enterprise-level project.
Requirements
Backend Development Experience
- Experience with Wagtail CMS
- Experience architecting REST APIs for React applications
- Expertise with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and designing scalable data models
- Strong knowledge of Git workflow, including pull requests, code reviews, and branching strategies
- Familiarity with eCommerce projects (preferred)
Additional Skills
- Proven ability to work through a large backlog
- Experience working in an agile process with sprints in Jira
- Proficient in written and verbal English for seamless communication with US-based customers
- Team player mindset
- Agency experience (strongly preferred)
- Degree in Computer Science or related discipline (preferred)
